Didn’t realize I haven’t updated this blog in almost a year! Well I did have a baby in August of last year, so I’ve been busy. I’ve only done a couple of nursery art pieces since then. Here’s one:

And the other was for a friend’s nursery and I didn’t photograph it as I was in a rush to get her paintings done as she was in the hospital giving birth!

I have been working on landscape paintings mostly this year, and pet portraits. I do however, have an order right now for some Jungle Nursery letters so I will be doing that in the next week.  I will post a pic once they are complete!

Patchwork Pony August 19, 2008

This is my most recent painting. Done to coordinate with Patchwork Pony bedding from Hometrend (Walmart). It also matches quite nicely with Patchwork Ponies from Olive kids!This is done on a 12×12 gallery wrap canvas. I painted the edges to match.

I’ve gotten several inquiries about purchasing custom letters, or artwork from me so I thought I’d do a post to clarify how I work!

I sell my letters/artwork on Etsy (here’s a link to my shop), or you can order directly from me (just send me an email and I can invoice you via paypal). I accept paypal, personal checks or cashiers checks/money orders. The turnaround time right now is about 2-3 weeks, but if you have a rush order I can generally accommodate you. Keep in mind that if you pay via personal check I will not begin your letters until your check has cleared the bank!

As far as what kind of custom artwork I can do? Pretty much anything! I can customize your letters to suit any room decor or theme that you’d like. Also, your artwork doesn’t have to be letters. It can be anything at all that you want to coordinate with your theme. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

Train! August 1, 2008

I finished up the train painting this morning and I am waiting on final approval from my client before I varnish it and ship it off! This painting was done to coordinate with Bedtime Originals bedding “Travel Time”:

Here’s little Joey all finished, varnished and ribboned! These letters were done to coordinate with The Land of Nod’s Womb With A View bedding. So cute! And bright.

Sshh…Baby is sleeping. July 30, 2008

Here’s the “Sshh…Baby is sleeping.” sign that I mentioned earlier. It’s made to hang on your front door to warn people that the baby is sleeping in hopes that they might use their common sense and knock instead of ringing. It’s done in a jungle/rainforest theme.

Uptown Letters July 29, 2008

These letters were done to coordinate with Wal-Mart’s “Uptown” nursery bedding. Don’t you just love that name? I finished these off with a lovely chocolate brown ribbon. Lovely! I will post a picture of them with their ribbons later.
